Position Summary

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats infants, children, and adolescents with medical, developmental, neurological, or orthopedic conditions that affect movement and functional mobility. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and interdisciplinary care goals, provides therapeutic exercises and mobility training, recommends positioning and adaptive equipment, and educates caregivers and staff on safe handling and mobility techniques. The Physical Therapist also documents services, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, and ensures therapy services meet regulatory, clinical, and payer requirements while supporting each child’s functional independence and quality of life.
